About the work
A full-length farce about impoverished painter Boudewijn, who—with help from his girlfriend Mathilde—tries to arrange a wealthy marriage. A rented apartment, a rich businessman, his daughter, a mistress and a wrongly assigned housekeeper create an increasingly tangled series of misunderstandings.
