About the work
Een harlekijn voor Flip is a Dutch-language play by Frans Cools. Following the death of nine-year-old Flip, the drama focuses on teacher Herman Dijkstra, his wife Andrea and an investigation that exposes tensions in their relationship and past. The play won first prize in the Noordstarfonds playwriting competition and was subsequently staged by multiple amateur theatre companies.
