Eclipsed is a play by Patricia Burke Brogan about young unmarried women forced to work in an Irish Magdalene laundry in 1963 under the supervision of nuns. The play explores oppression, shame, motherhood, and solidarity among the women. Its first production opened on 11 February 1992 with Punchbag Theatre Company.
