About the work
Dogfight is a musical about young Marine Eddie Birdlace, who in 1963, on the eve of deployment to Vietnam, joins his fellow Marines in a cruel contest to bring the least attractive date to a party. Meeting the shy waitress Rose forces him to confront the consequences of his actions and themes of compassion, peer pressure and growing up.
