About the work
Disney's The Lion King JR. is a 60-minute youth adaptation of the stage musical based on Disney's The Lion King. Simba is driven from the Pride Lands after Mufasa's death and later returns to confront Scar and reclaim his place. The score draws on material from the animated film and the Broadway musical.
