About the work
Disaster! is a jukebox musical comedy by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick that spoofs 1970s disaster films. Set at the opening of a floating casino and discotheque in 1979, it follows a group of guests trying to survive a succession of catastrophes while the score draws on well-known songs of the decade.
