About the work
“Die magischen Schwestern” is a German-language Christmas fairy tale by Sabine Nehmzow with music by Marcus Wurlitzer. Sisters Dilara and Leah disrupt the quiet Dark Forest with singing and flute playing; when the troll Bodo takes Dilara to his cave, Leah and the forest animals set out to rescue her. The story combines fantasy, humour and adventure with themes of friendship, courage and solidarity.
