About the work

In Heinrich von Kleist’s comedy, village judge Adam must investigate the case of a broken jug in the village of Huisum. As the proceedings unfold, evidence increasingly points to the judge himself being involved in the events of the previous night. The play combines courtroom comedy with a satire of abuse of power, cover-ups, and the search for truth.

May we measure how Stageify is used?

Statistics only — no advertising, and we never sell your data. It shows us which parts of Stageify work and which do not.

Either answer is fine — the whole site works exactly the same.
