Auf dem Weg zur Weltausstellung geraten sie in einen Fall um die gestohlene Blaue Mauritius und in ein Geflecht aus Verwechslungen, Hochstapelei und Romanze. Das Musical von Marc Schubring und Wolfgang Adenberg basiert auf dem gleichnamigen UFA-Film von 1937 und verbindet Kriminalkomödie mit dem Klang deutscher Tonfilmrevuen.
