About the work

The crime thriller A Sting in the Tale, known in German as Der Haken, by Brian Clemens and Dennis Spooner follows struggling crime writers Nigel Forbes and Max Goodman as an idea for a stage murder develops into a real murder plot. Nigel’s wife Ann is intended to be the victim, but the two writers soon find themselves playing against each other. The play is a two-act crime story for five performers.
