About the work

Judith Herzberg’s Dutch adaptation of Euripides’ tragedy follows the women of defeated Troy as they await their fate as spoils of war. Hecuba, Andromache, Cassandra and Helen confront loss, captivity and the consequences of war from the perspective of the defeated.
