About the work
De luchtballon is a comic one-act play by Carl Slotboom for three women and two men. Agnes wins a hot-air-balloon flight and brings her husband Piet. They share the basket with the upper-class Greet and her attentive son Guus, while pilot Brenda turns out to be less experienced than she claims. Their clashing personalities and uncertain flight lead to comic complications.
