About the work
Jürgen von Bülow’s free stage adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s ghost story follows Sir Simon, the ghost of Canterville Chase, as his new American inhabitants remain unimpressed by his attempts to haunt them. The comedy gives the familiar story its own ending, in which the aging ghost finds a new place in the castle.
