Wolfgang Welter's stage adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book follows Mowgli, a human child raised by wolves in the Indian jungle. With Baloo, Bagheera and Kaa around him and the tiger Shere Khan as a threat, Mowgli has to find his place between the animal and human worlds while learning about courage, community and the laws of the jungle.
The adaptation is written as a play with music and stays close to Kipling's original story. The music is by Volker Förster.
