On the day of a national election, torrential rain hits the country while an unexpected result shakes the government: more than 80 percent of voters in the capital cast blank ballots. The authorities set out to understand, contain and ultimately repress what they see as an unprecedented political crisis.

Inspired by José Saramago's Seeing, the play is a political satire and black comedy about democracy, obedience, power and the fear of dissent.
