About the work
Cats follows the Jellicle cats as they gather for their annual Jellicle Ball, where Old Deuteronomy will choose one cat to ascend to the Heaviside Layer and begin a new life. The musical is built around a series of character portraits and songs inspired by T. S. Eliot's poetry.
