In the Drenthe-dialect farce Butenbieners, Frank Verheul buys a farmhouse to live in the countryside. A will gives former maid Chalotte Kool the right to remain there for life. She enjoys posing as a fortune-teller and receives regular clients from the village, while postman Gerrit, Frank's wife Erika and other local characters create further complications.
