About the work
Boeren follows two farming brothers: one stayed to take over the family farm while the other left. Their strained relationship brings family loyalty and attachment to farming into conflict with economic pressure, regulation, nature and climate concerns. Erik Vlaminck's tragicomic play was written to be performed in barns and stables.
