About the work
Blind Date is a short romantic comedy by Peter Quilter. Jonathan and Wendy, who have met through a lonely-hearts advertisement, arrange their first meeting in Jonathan's living room. Both arrive wary after unsuccessful relationships, and the play follows their awkward, hopeful attempt to make the evening work.
