About the work
Cinema owner Paul Vanicek is thrown into crisis when his son sells the cinema that has defined his life. After a heart attack he must accept professional care at home; through clashes with his son, his neighbour and a care worker, the tragicomedy explores ageing, the need for care and finding a new path in life.
