About the work

As It Is In Heaven is a stage adaptation inspired by the Swedish film Så som i himmelen. After a health crisis, internationally known conductor Daniel Daréus returns to his home village and becomes involved with the local church choir. His unconventional approach brings tensions, desires and old wounds to the surface and changes relationships within the community.
