Angst essen Seele auf ist ein Schauspiel nach Rainer Werner Fassbinders gleichnamiger Liebesgeschichte. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die ältere Putzfrau Emmi und der deutlich jüngere marokkanische Arbeiter Ali, deren Beziehung in ihrem Umfeld auf Rassismus, Ablehnung und soziale Ausgrenzung stößt. Das Stück behandelt Vorurteile, Einsamkeit und den gesellschaftlichen Druck auf eine ungewöhnliche Partnerschaft.
