About the work
ALIBI is a black comedy by Frank Roumen about a company that sells clients convincing alibis and constructs an alternative reality to support them. When a wealthy banker demands help after a secret escapade ends fatally, the system becomes increasingly trapped in its own lies.
The play explores truthfulness, image-making and loss. It is a short full-length play of about 80 minutes with five roles: three women and two men.
