About the work
A Night in November is a one-person play by Marie Jones about Kenneth McCallister, a Protestant family man in Belfast whose experience at a Northern Ireland–Republic of Ireland football match forces him to confront sectarian prejudice and his own national identity. The play follows his decision to travel to the United States to support the Republic of Ireland at the 1994 World Cup.
