Set in 1956, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche follows the officers of the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein during their annual quiche breakfast. When an atomic-bomb warning disrupts the gathering, the women are forced to confront both the apparent crisis outside and truths they have kept hidden from one another. The comedy combines period satire, farce and audience participation.
