4.48 Psychosis is Sarah Kane’s final play. Written as a fragmented text without fixed characters or conventional stage directions, it explores severe depression, isolation, dependency, medication, love, self-harm and suicidal thought. The play premiered posthumously at the Royal Court Theatre in London in 2000.
