Whitchurch Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society
About the group
Whitchurch Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society, formed in 1924, mainly produces musical stage shows such as Iolanthe, The Mikado, Me and My Girl, Fiddler on the Roof and Anything Goes. It is a registered charity affiliated with NODA, and mainly for adults, though young people are welcomed when a production calls for them.
New members are always welcome, whether on stage or in the off-stage roles. Principals usually rehearse on Tuesdays and the chorus on Thursdays, and performances are now focused at the Talbot Theatre at Sir John Talbot's Academy.
