About this production
Waukesha Civic Theatre presents Mary Poppins as part of its 2026–2027 Mainstage season. Rhonda Schmidt and Jacqueline Lopez direct, with Nicole McCarty as music director and Thomas Cauley as choreographer. The production is based on the stories of P. L. Travers and the Walt Disney film, with original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman and a book by Julian Fellowes.
Auditions are open
Auditions are scheduled for September 28 and 29, 2026, with callbacks on September 30. Auditions are open to performers ages 10 and older and consist of a vocal audition, a brief reading and a dance call. Each audition night has separate youth and adult singing sessions followed by a required dance call, with an optional additional tap call on September 30. Registration uses the production-specific audition form.
