About the group

Waterford Youth Arts offers drama, visual art, film and creative writing workshops for young people aged 5 to 19 in Waterford city. Workshops run after school and on Saturdays, no experience is needed, and a one-session trial is available before signing up for a term.

The organisation has been working with young people since 1985, and its drama groups present productions such as Hotel Rapscallion, written by Mary O'Donoghue. A bursary scheme helps with fees.
