About this production
Valuasmusical bracht The Sound of Music op 29 en 30 maart 2005 in Theater de Maaspoort in Venlo. Er waren drie voorstellingen: twee avondvoorstellingen en, nadat die snel uitverkocht raakten, een extra matinee. De productie vertelt het verhaal van Maria, die als gouvernante terechtkomt bij de familie Von Trapp en daar een gezin helpt opnieuw muziek, warmte en verbondenheid te vinden.
