Theatergroep Hoogspanning bracht in 2016 Pygmalion van George Bernard Shaw, in een regie van Bart Van Gyseghem. De productie volgde de verhouding tussen een taalprofessor en een straatmeisje en koppelde hun wederzijdse verandering aan thema's als taal, manieren, maatschappelijke verhoudingen en liefde.
