About this production
Stichting Iepenloftspul Bantegea bracht in 2018 Weispield, een grootschalige locatievoorstelling op de Marchjepôle in de Tsjûkemar. Schrijver en regisseur Eelco Venema verweefde het verhaal van verzetsheld Lodo van Hamel met sagen en mythen rond het Tsjûkemar; de productie gebruikte onder meer een groot mannenkoor, boten en een twintig meter hoog kunstwerk als decor.
