About this production
Stage West Playhouse stages Ken Ludwig’s comic mystery The Game’s Afoot in its 2026–27 season. Set in December 1936, the play follows actor William Gillette and fellow performers during a holiday gathering that turns into a murder investigation.
Auditions are open
Open auditions are scheduled for Friday, September 11 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, September 12 at noon at Stage West Playhouse. Auditions use cold reads from provided sides; no prepared monologue is required. Auditioners complete a short information sheet on arrival and should bring a conflict list. Callbacks may be held Sunday if needed.
