South London Theatre stages Beth Steel’s Till the Stars Come Down from 11 to 16 January 2027 at the SLT Fire Station in West Norwood. Directed by Charlotte Benstead, the play follows a Nottingham family through an increasingly chaotic wedding day, exploring family, class, loyalty and changing communities.
Open auditions are being held on 19 September 2026 from 18:30 to 21:15 and on 20 September from 10:00 to 12:15 at the SLT Fire Station. Auditionees book a ten-minute slot and prepare one of the published speeches; selected performers are invited to a second-round audition on 27 September. The production seeks six female and four male performers, with one child role reserved for existing Youth Group members.
