About this production
Shinfield Players Theatre stages Jack and the Queenstalk as its 2027 pantomime, combining the familiar Jack and the Beanstalk story with the music of Queen. The production is planned for the company's own theatre near Reading in January 2027.
Auditions are open
Shinfield Players Theatre is casting performers of all ages and experience levels for principal, comedy and ensemble roles. A preview is held on 20 September 2026 at 18:00, followed by audition preparation and early auditions on 26 September at 14:00 and the main auditions and casting on 4 October at 14:00. Registration of interest is available through the company's audition page.
