About the group

Sale & Altrincham Musical Theatre (SAMT) is an award-winning musical theatre and drama society and registered charity in south-west Manchester. Formed in 1936 as Sale Operatic and Dramatic Society, it aims to bring top-quality musical theatre at affordable prices to the local community. It presents mostly modern musicals with occasional traditional operettas, rehearses at St George's Parish Centre in Altrincham, and holds open auditions for its productions.
