About the group
Rock Ferry Amateur Operatic Society (RFOS) is a small, friendly amateur society in Birkenhead for the performing arts, covering singing, acting, dancing, directing, set building, costume and prop making, and fundraising. Founded in 1922, it has staged operas, operettas, Gilbert and Sullivan, Viennese operetta and American musicals. It rehearses on Thursday evenings at Prenton Methodist Church, and prospective members are invited to come along to a rehearsal.
