About this production
Projectkoor Gelderland bracht in 2016 The birth of music, een hommage aan componist Ton de Leeuw rond zijn negentigste geboortejaar. Het kleinschalige programma combineerde werk van De Leeuw met muziek van zijn leermeesters en leerlingen, in samenwerking met het Weidler Kwartet en onder leiding van Béni Csillag.
