About this production

Voortvarende Vrouwen is een muziektheaterproductie van OVW Muziektheater over vrouwen in de Veenkoloniale scheepvaart rond 1850. De voorstelling verbindt lokale geschiedenis met zang en spel en gebruikt onder meer muziek van Johann Strauss; het verhaal begint in het Veenkoloniaal Museum en vervolgt in theater vanBeresteyn in Veendam.
