Agnes Adolon, Tochter einer wohlhabenden Hoteliersfamilie, muss verbergen, dass sie in einer psychiatrischen Klinik lebt, als ihre Mutter einen Besuch ankündigt.
Ihre Mitbewohner geben sich als gewöhnliche Menschen aus, etwa als Partner, Haushälterin, Freundin und Chauffeur. Die Verwechslungen steigern sich, bis die Frage im Raum steht, wer eigentlich verrückt ist und was als normal gilt. Die Spieldauer beträgt rund 120 Minuten.
