Operakoor Bel Canto brengt in oktober 2026 Georges Bizets opera Les pêcheurs de perles in het Haventheater in IJmuiden. Het amateurkoor wordt begeleid door de Utrechtse MuziekAcademie onder leiding van dirigent Marco Bons; Jeroen Lopes Cardozo regisseert de geënsceneerde uitvoering van de oorspronkelijke Franse versie.
