About this production
Ocala Civic Theatre stages Larissa FastHorse’s satirical comedy The Thanksgiving Play as part of its Season 76 mainstage programme. Directed by Vickie Ramirez, the production runs from 29 October through 15 November 2026 at Ocala Civic Theatre.
Auditions are open
Open auditions are scheduled for 14 September 2026 from 18:00 to 21:00, with callbacks on 15 September. An optional pre-audition workshop is held on 13 September at 18:00. Auditioners prepare a one-minute monologue and reserve a spot through the production’s signup form; no previous experience is required. Anyone unable to attend the scheduled audition may contact the theatre about a separate appointment.
