O'Connell Musical Society
About the group
O'Connell Musical Society (OCMS) is a community-based amateur musical society in Dublin, founded in 1943 with a production of The Geisha. It was revived in 1966 after financial difficulties in the early 1960s.
The society stages an annual pantomime at St Brigid's Boys' National School in Killester, and has put on musicals such as Follies at the Clasac Theatre in Clontarf. New members have joined through auditions, and many members' children take part.
