De toenmalige Musicalvereniging West-Friesland, de voorloper van Musicalvereniging Westend, bracht in 1985 Anatevka. De musical volgt melkboer Tevye en zijn gezin in een joodse gemeenschap in het tsaristische Rusland, waar traditie onder druk komt te staan.
