EDOG bracht in 1988 de operette De Vogelkoopman van Carl Zeller op de planken in Diemen. De productie stond onder regie van Ruud Saan, met Corné Mooibroek als repetitor en Olof Groesz als dirigent van het Amsterdams Promenade Orkest.
