Musicalgroep Utrecht bracht Urinetown als satirische musical over een stad waar water schaars is en privétoiletten verboden zijn. Wanneer de bevolking in opstand komt tegen de hoge toiletprijzen, raken liefde, macht en maatschappelijke ongelijkheid met elkaar verweven.
