Werther was Meeuws locatievoorstelling uit 2009 naar Goethes briefroman Die Leiden des jungen Werthers. Vier jonge spelers speelden in een werkplaats van de voormalige gevangenis De Blokhuispoort in Leeuwarden, onder regie van Jellie Schippers.
