Het Grote Onbekende was een locatieproductie van Meeuw jonge theatermakers, Explore the North en Oerol in 2023. Vier jonge schrijvers uit Friesland maakten verhalen bij portretten van jonge Terschellingers; ook andere jonge performers gaven hun eigen interpretatie aan het materiaal tijdens Oerol.
