Mariposa Arts Theatre stages A.J. Demers's one-act comedy about the real-life Principality of Outer Baldonia at the Orillia Opera House Studio Theatre in February 2027. The production is directed by Darren Summersby.
Auditions are open
Open auditions are scheduled for October 2, 2026, from 7:00–9:30 p.m. and October 3 from 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. at the MAT Centre in Orillia, with callbacks on October 4 if needed. Auditioners should prepare a comedic or storytelling-focused monologue of under five minutes and may also be asked to read from the script. The audition form must be submitted and a time selected by September 30 at 11:59 p.m.; alternative arrangements may be discussed with the director for people unable to attend either date.
