Big Guy Macbeth is J.J. Cremers muzikale bewerking van Shakespeares Macbeth, bewerkt en geregisseerd door René Retèl. Het verhaal is verplaatst naar het Chicago van de jaren twintig en dertig, met gangsters, nachtclubs en nummers van Bertolt Brecht en Kurt Weill.
J.J. Cremer zoekt nieuw talent voor Big Guy Macbeth via twee gratis workshops op zaterdag 31 oktober en zaterdag 7 november 2026, beide van 12:00 tot 16:00 uur bij Revalidatiecentrum Zuiderhout in Haarlem. Ervaring met acteren is niet vereist; deelnemers aan de workshops maken kans om mee te spelen in de voorstelling. De workshops worden geleid door bewerker en regisseur René Retèl. Aanmelden verloopt via de workshoproute in de Links-sectie.
